Truman Lake is a Corp of Engineers lake and is the largest flood control lake in MIssouri. The Reservoir has a surface of 55,000 acres of boating, water skiing, sailing, & fishing, with another 40,000 acres reserved for other outdoor recreational activities including hunting, hiking, & horseback riding.
